This grant will be used to fund a Kira research project. Five members of the Kira Institute will engage in research individually and jointly, focused on the question of the relationship between “Inner and Outer”  or the role that physical and mental phenomena play in our experience of the world and of ourselves. Also, there will be a mid-point review in the Fall of 1998 and also a special symposium in early 1999 where the results of the research project will be presented.
